DESCRIPTION:“A New SRC Measurement with Polarized Deuteron Beam: Preparation Status” \nДокладчик: Maria Patsyuk (LHEP\, JINR) \nАннотация\nShort-Range Correlations (SRC) pairs form when two nucleons come into close proximity within a nucleus. Extensive studies of electron scattering have shown that most SRC pairs exhibit quantum numbers characteristic of a deuteron. Tensor-polarized deuteron studies offer a unique opportunity to explore fundamental aspects of SRC pairs\, which are crucial for understanding nuclear systems\, from atomic nuclei to neutron stars. An experiment using a tensor-polarized deuteron beam and a liquid hydrogen target at the Hyper-NIS experimental area has been approved by the 59th PAC. This study focuses on the hard quasi-elastic d(p\,2p)n deuteron breakup reaction in SRC kinematics\, aiming to ex-tract polarization observables.
