Installation of radio-frequency (RF) stations RF-1 and RF-2 has started in straight sections of the NICA collider.
Laboratory employees, together with colleagues from Novosibirsk, are installing resonators for RF systems inside the tunnel and warming them up to achieve operating vacuum. At the same time, control rooms for resonators are being prepared. Vacuum equipment specialists are setting up all necessary seal components, pumps, and the warm up control system.
