On November 23-25, 2021, the VBLHEP delegation took part in the international conference “Modern problems of nuclear energetics and nuclear technologies” held in Tashkent (the Republic of Uzbekistan) and dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the foundation of the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The conference brought together about 190 participants from 10 world countries, including representatives of scientific, scientific educational and scientific production institutes of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Australia, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Italy and other countries. In total, 130 reports were presented for three days of the conference, which was held both in person and online format.
The event was aimed at presenting modern trends in the field of fundamental and applied nuclear physics, the latest achievements in the field of nuclear energy, in the development and application of nuclear technologies, and in nuclear medicine. The event was also intended to broaden and enhance the international scientific cooperation.
The conference started with a session of welcome speeches given by INP AS RUz Director I.
