Dmitry Nikolaevich Peskov, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Digital and Technological Development, visited the VBLHEP site today. JINR Director G.V. Trubnikov and VBLHEP Director V.D. Kekelidze presented to the guest the mega-science project being implemented at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research – the accelerator complex of superconducting rings on colliding beams of heavy ions NICA and spoke about the scientific problems being solved and the programme of applied innovative research.
