Fundamental research using the NICA detectors is carried out within the framework of broad international cooperation, which allows scientists to implement common scientific plans by combining resources and freely exchanging information. In 2018, the founding meeting of the Multi – Purpose Detector (MPD) Collaboration was held, which brought together more than 500 participants from 40 research centers from 11 countries.
